Thank you for volunteering last season to be part of the AYSO family. As we enter into the 2010 season we will also be celebrating 25 years of AYSO soccer in the city of Santa Ana. AYSO Soccer is the oldest youth soccer organization in our city.

To our Community:
We are in need of more board members for the upcomming season.

We are looking for some motivated individuals to help out in the administration of our Region. We know that you have what it takes to make a difference.

Please consider giving the kids in our region some of your time and talent.

We are accepting registrations for a waitng list. For late registration instructions, or any questions, please contact heidi@ayso517.org

AYSO provides certified training for all coaches, referees, as well as special classes for volunteers who come in contact with our children. All adults must complete a volunteer form which is sent to our national office for final approval. Background checks on volunteers are common to help provide more protection of our children.

We always need Referees. Be a volunteer and help out your child play by the rules.
It does not require referee experience. We will train you!
You also get a FREE REFEREE SHIRT AND SHORTS if you volunteer as a referee at AYSO Region 517.

Our soccer program is available to children ages 4 to 18. Providing a safe program for these children costs money, this is why we ask you to consider our request to sponsor a team with a tax-deductible pledge.

Online Certification & Training Courses

Now all AYSO volunteers can take courses online at home.
Courses are between 20 and 45 minutes and at the end the volunteer is certified.

Available courses are:
• Safe Haven for Referees (20-30 min)
• Safe Haven for Coaches (35-45 min)
• BASIC Management (20-30 min)
• Treasurer 1 (20-30 min)
• U-8 Coach (20-30 min)
• U-10 Coach (30-40 min)
